Strata Designs is an English family business, established in 1985 by Mr Kenneth James Beer who had been involved with the Dimension Weld® licensed process since the early seventies, when his then employer Sketchley Ltd were the first UK Company to be granted a License. Traditionally we have used our Dimension Weld® process to convert many different types of flexible plastics into badges labels and trim for the garment industry, although we are now producing a far wider product range.

Our process uses a radio frequency plastic welding technique in combination with a wide range of materials to produce a variety of end product. To date, direct to garment decoration, badges, labels & trim, stickers, magnets, stationery items, deluxe packaging, and various promotional items.

In the early days Strata Designs specialised in the direct decoration of sportswear, mainly football replica kit for the UK manufacturing industry. Over the years garment manufacturing slowly moved offshore, and we became less involved with direct garment decoration. Our business continued to grow however due to the supply of materials and technology to overseas manufactures on behalf of the major sportwear brands.

As our business has grown we have seen interest in our process from many other areas of industry, and we are now supplying a far more diverse range of customers. This has ensured the continued development of our own skill base in this specialist area of manufacturing.
